More about e*thirteen Flat Pedals

Your feet don't slip. Your pedals don't quit. That's the standard.

MTB News awarded our Base Pedal Top Pick in a head-to-head test: "The e*thirteen is the clear favorite from the test! It is the pedal with the best grip and it offers enormous security in every situation."

The 22-pin pattern (11 per side) comes directly from our original LG1 pedals. We kept it because it works. Vital MTB put it simply: "Super grippy and extremely durable. Still no lateral play and still spinning smoothly after a season of abuse."

MBR called the shape and foothold "absolutely spot on" with "a ton of support and a really comfortable, stable feel." The Loam Wolf found that "through corners, off jumps and when bashing through the chunk, my feet stayed firmly planted without the slightest bit of twisting or movement."

Aluminum Plus features a machined 7075 aluminum platform with one big inboard bearing and two outboard bearings on a steel axle. Slim profile deflects rocks. MBR noted after high mileage in rough winter conditions: "still zero wobble or play in the bearings." Fully rebuildable when it's time for a refresh.

Composite Base delivers the same 100 x 110mm platform and 22-pin layout in a durable composite body. Inboard bushing plus outboard bearing spins smooth and lasts. As one Vital MTB reviewer put it: "I never think about them on the trail, and I am always surprised by their durability after scraping rocks."

Both pedals come with a 5-year warranty and rebuild kits readily available.
